Second Preloader with Glow Effect

For some strange reason my preloaders are working fine in FireFox but don't function in IE? I have noticed on some of the forums, such as actionscript.org and flashkit that a lot of people are having this problem and I have no clue what i can do to resolve it at the moment

Embedding SWF Files

since swfup.com just disappeared the other week I have had to find a new way to host my flash files. I found a really good site called http://www.imageaddicts.net/index.php

if you take the URL it gives you for your file and put it into the code below you can embed your swf files on your blog the same as before.

Researching a Practitioner

So far I have found loads of new stuff and looked back over some site layouts and interactive flash sites but It's really difficult to find out any individuals behind the work. Most of my research so far has lead me to media agencies. Anyway this post is basically an excuse to post a link I found on the Paperision blog. Amazing website, really nice graphics and encourages some interactivity while maintaining good usability. The Agency also works with some massive brands like Sony Playstation, E4 .etc. the works all available to view on the website.

I'm going to be using this for Jules SPP lecture task and possibly hunt down a really bad site as well.

Interactive Magazine Cover

CLICK THE FLASHING ARROW TO START DRAWING AND THE BUTTON IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT TO CLEAR SCREEN

I made this in flash using ActionScript for a couple of mates online magazine they're working on, thinking it should be pretty simple. Turned out to be slightly harder than expected. I have a better understanding of the getChild(), getChildAt() and how to use classes. I think I will find it easier to dynamically place and remove objects on the stage from now on as well. I also learned how to generate random numbers within a certain range, as I needed it to give me random line width and color for every stroke.
